1. Program Overview

Finding Stillness is an eight-week live online meditation and wellbeing program designed to support personal wellbeing through guided meditation, mindfulness practices, self-reflection and practical relaxation techniques.

The program is educational in nature and is intended to support general wellbeing. It is not a substitute for medical advice, psychological counselling or mental health treatment.

2. Enrolment

Your place in the program is confirmed once:

  • Your completed enrolment form has been received.

  • Payment has been made in full, or

  • An approved payment plan has been established.

Places are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

3. Investment and Payment

The program investment is outlined at the time of enrolment.

Where a payment plan has been approved, participants agree to complete all scheduled payments by the agreed dates.

Failure to maintain payment arrangements may result in suspension of access to the program until payments are brought up to date.

4. Program Dates

Finding Stillness consists of eight live weekly Zoom sessions.

Should unforeseen circumstances require a session to be rescheduled, participants will be notified as soon as possible and an alternative arrangement will be made where practical.

5. Attendance

Participants are encouraged to attend each live session to receive the greatest benefit from the program.

If you are unable to attend a session, please let us know where possible.

The value of the program comes from regular participation, personal reflection and ongoing practice between sessions.

6. Participant Journal and Welcome Package

Your Finding Stillness Participant Journal and welcome package will be posted to the postal address provided during enrolment.

Please ensure your contact and postal details are accurate.

If your address changes before the program begins, please notify AMHCC as soon as possible.

7. Creating a Supportive Learning Environment

Finding Stillness has been designed as a safe and welcoming space for everyone.

By participating in the program you agree to:

  • Treat all participants with kindness, respect and compassion.

  • Respect the privacy and confidentiality of personal experiences shared during sessions.

  • Contribute to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Participate in discussions respectfully and without judgement.

8. Health and Wellbeing

Meditation is generally considered a safe practice for most people.

However, every participant is responsible for making decisions that are appropriate for their own health and wellbeing.

If you have significant physical, psychological or mental health concerns, or are currently receiving treatment, we encourage you to consult your healthcare professional before participating.

If at any time during the program you feel uncomfortable with a meditation practice, you are encouraged to stop, modify the practice or discuss your concerns with the facilitator.

9. Session Recordings

Where available, live Zoom sessions may be recorded to support participants who are unable to attend or who wish to revisit the material.

By participating in live sessions, you acknowledge that recordings may include your name, image or voice if your camera or microphone is turned on.

If you prefer not to appear in recordings, you are welcome to keep your camera and microphone switched off throughout the session.

Recordings are provided exclusively for participants enrolled in Finding Stillness and must not be copied, downloaded, shared or distributed.

(If you later decide not to provide recordings, we can simply replace this section with "Sessions are not recorded.")

10. Refunds and Transfers

If you are unable to participate after enrolling, please contact AMHCC as soon as possible.

Refund requests will be managed in accordance with the Australian Meditation & Holistic Counselling College Refund Policy.

Where appropriate, participants may be offered the opportunity to transfer to a future Finding Stillness intake.

11. Privacy

All personal information collected during enrolment will be managed in accordance with the Australian Meditation & Holistic Counselling College Privacy Policy.

Your information will only be used for purposes relating to your participation in the program and will never be shared with third parties without your consent, unless required by law.
